1. Raw material preparation

2. Ingredients and mixing

3. Powder preparation

Send the mixed raw materials into equipment such as ball mill or jaw crusher for further crushing and mixing to obtain the required particle size and uniform distribution.

4. Molding

The powder is molded by equipment such as a press or an extruder. Common forming methods include dry pressing and plastic forming. Dry pressing involves placing powder into a mold and applying high pressure to form it into a solid block. Plastic molding involves adding a certain amount of liquid (such as water or organic solvent) to the powder to form a plastic paste, which is formed into the desired shape by extrusion or pressing.

5. Drying and hardening

The shaped bricks will go through a certain drying process to remove excess water and improve their strength. This usually includes steps such as natural air drying and oven drying.

6. Sintering

Send the dried bricks into a refractory brick kiln for sintering. The sintering temperature is usually between 1500°C and 1800°C and can be adjusted according to the desired product characteristics.

7. Cooling and quality inspection

the sintered magnesia-chrome bricks will be cooled in the kiln, and then quality inspection will be carried out. Quality inspection includes visual inspection, dimensional measurement, fire resistance test, etc. to ensure that the product meets the standards and requirements.

8. Packaging and storage

Magnesia-chrome bricks that have passed the quality inspection will be packaged and properly stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid moisture absorption and damage.
