What are the castables for cement kiln

Castables for cement kilns generally need to have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The following is the introduction of castables commonly used in cement kilns.
1. High alumina castable
High alumina castable is a castable made of high alumina aggregate, clay, refractory cement and other materials. It has the characteristics of good high temperature resistance, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. It is often used in the repair and reconstruction of the baking belt area of cement kiln.
Modern ultrafine powder and low CA cement were used to add high alumina castable, which improved the strength and stability of medium temperature.
2. Lightweight castable
Lightweight castable is generally made of lightweight aggregate (such as perlite, expanded perlite, etc.), cement, additives and other materials mixed, with low density, small thermal conductivity, heat insulation and other characteristics, suitable for the maintenance and reconstruction of cement kiln cooling belt and baking belt.

3. Silicate castable
Silicate castable is usually made of Portland cement, Portland aggregate, selected filler and emulsifier mixed, with high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and other characteristics, suitable for cement kiln baking belt, cooling belt repair and reconstruction.
4. High-speed rail castable
High-speed iron castable is a kind of castable which is composed of electroslag iron, steel slag, refractory material, clay and so on. It has the characteristics of high strength, high corrosion resistance, seepage resistance and so on. It is usually used for the repair and renovation of sintering belt in cement kiln.
