Dense Castable

Introduction： Dense castable is a high-density refractory castable with high bulk density and low porosity. It is usually mixed with fine-grained refractory aggregates, powdered refractory materials and special binders. Dense castables have high strength, slag erosion resistance and thermal shock resistance. Dense castables are widely used in the lining of high-temperature industrial equipment, such as high-temperature furnaces, heat treatment furnaces and converters. Due to their higher strength and resistance to slag attack, they excel in environments subjected to higher temperatures and chemical attack. Dense castables have high fire resistance and thermal stability, and are suitable for long-term high-temperature use. They generally have low thermal conductivity, are relatively insulated from heat transfer, and can provide good thermal insulation.
