Alkaline refractory

Introduction： Alkaline refractory is a kind of special refractory material, alkaline refractory is made of magnesium oxide (MgO) and calcium oxide (CaO) as the main components. Alkaline refractory has excellent alkali corrosion resistance, high temperature stability and mechanical strength, so it is widely used in a variety of high temperature industrial equipment, such as cement kiln, glass kiln, metallurgical furnace and so on. Basic refractories can be divided into two types: binder and non-binder: 1, bonded alkaline refractory: the use of additional coating or adding binder method to manufacture. This kind of refractory has good slag resistance and erosion resistance, and is usually used in the thin-wall parts of high temperature equipment such as furnaces, such as kiln shell, kiln roof, kiln mouth, etc. 2, non-bonded alkaline refractory: does not contain any binder, but is made by pressing and sintering and other processes. This refractory material has high temperature stability and alkaline resistance, and is usually used in the lining part of high temperature equipment, such as kiln lining, furnace, furnace door, etc.
