The refractory brick for cement rotary kiln is a kind of refractory material specially used in the cement production process. It is mainly used to protect the inner wall of the cement rotary kiln from damage by high temperature, chemical corrosion and other factors, thereby prolonging the service life of the cement rotary kiln. One. Refractory bricks used in different areas of cement rotary kiln
1. Transition zone refractory brick
Installed in the upper part of the cement rotary kiln, it is connected between the material preheating zone and the clinker firing zone. Usually, high aluminate containing high aluminum and silicon is used as raw material, which has excellent wear resistance, fire resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
2. Refractory bricks in clinker firing area
Installed in the lower half of the cement rotary kiln, it directly contacts the high-temperature clinker. It is usually made of different materials such as magnesium aluminum, chrome magnesium iron or high aluminum, and has good fire resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
3. Cooling zone refractory bricks
Installed at the exhaust port of cement rotary kiln, it is used to cool the fired clinker. Usually made of alumina, silicon or chromium-containing materials, it has good fire resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
It should be noted that the selection of refractory bricks for cement rotary kiln should be reasonably matched according to the requirements and conditions of different parts, and regular inspection and maintenance should be done during production and use to ensure its normal operation and prolong its service life.
Two. Refractory bricks commonly used in cement rotary kilns
1. Magnesia brick
Used in the preheating section and firing section of cement rotary kiln, it has good fire resistance, erosion resistance, mechanical strength and high temperature stability.
2. Magnesia chrome brick
Used in the firing section of cement rotary kiln, it has excellent fire resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, especially for alkaline substances.
3. High alumina brick
It is used in the firing section and cooling section of cement rotary kiln. It has high fire resistance, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, and is suitable for use in high temperature environments.
4. Silicate brick
Used in the firing section and cooling section of cement rotary kiln, it has high fire resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and thermal shock stability.
It should be noted that different parts and functions have different requirements for refractory bricks, so the corresponding refractory bricks should be selected according to the actual situation, and the interior of the cement rotary kiln should be kept clean and properly ventilated during the production process to avoid damage and influence on the refractory bricks.
