A hot blast stove is a high-temperature device used to heat air or other gases, usually using refractory bricks as the lining material. The following is an introduction to the refractory bricks commonly used in hot blast stoves and the specifications and sizes of these refractory bricks.
1. Lightweight insulation refractory brick
Made of raw materials such as alumina, aluminum silicate and expansion agent, it has excellent high temperature resistance and heat insulation performance, and is suitable for the heat insulation layer of hot blast stoves.
Common sizes: 230mm×114mm×65mm, 230mm×113mm×50mm, etc.
Common specifications: 0.6g/cm³, 0.8g/cm³, 1.0g/cm³, 1.2g/cm³, 1.4g/cm³.
2. High alumina refractory brick
Made of raw materials such as alumina and aluminum silicate, it has high compressive strength and wear resistance, and is suitable for walls, tops and bottoms of hot blast stoves.
Common sizes: 230mm×114mm×65mm, 230mm×113mm×50mm, 230mm×230mm×65mm, etc.
Common specifications: AL2O3 content is 45%~85%.
3. Aluminum silicate refractory brick
Made of raw materials such as alumina and aluminum silicate, it has good fire resistance and wear resistance, and is suitable for walls, tops and bottoms of hot blast stoves.
Common sizes: 230mm×114mm×65mm, 230mm×113mm×50mm, etc.
Common specification: SiO2 content is 70%~80%.
4. High iron aluminum refractory brick
Made of raw materials such as alumina, aluminum silicate and metallic iron, it has excellent fire resistance and wear resistance, and is suitable for the inner lining of hot blast stoves.
Common sizes: 230mm×114mm×65mm, 230mm×113mm×50mm, etc.
Common specifications: Al2O3 content is 40%~60%, Fe2O3 content is 15%~25%.
The choice of refractory bricks for hot blast stoves needs to be selected according to specific usage conditions and process requirements. In addition, in order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the hot blast stove, attention should also be paid to the construction quality and maintenance of refractory bricks.
