high alumina brick is a kind of refractory material mainly composed of alumina, and its grade is usually classified according to alumina content and compressive strength. The weight of high alumina brick usually depends on its specification and density. Taking the common specification of 230*114*65mm as an example, the weight range of different grades of high alumina brick is as follows.
1, type 75 high aluminum brick: alumina content in about 75%, compressive strength between 70-80 MPa, suitable for high temperature kiln, metallurgy, electric power and building materials and other industries in high temperature thermal equipment lining plate. Type 75 high alumina bricks weigh about 4.7-5.0kg/ piece.
2, 70 type high aluminum brick: alumina content in about 70%, compressive strength between 60-70 MPa, suitable for high temperature kiln in various parts, such as heat insulation, furnace, flue, etc. The weight of Type 70 high aluminum brick is about 4.2-4.5kg/ piece.
3, type 65 high aluminum brick: alumina content of about 65%, compressive strength between 50-60 MPa, suitable for a variety of high temperature kiln components, such as top, wall, bottom, etc. Type 65 high aluminum bricks weigh about 3.8-4.0kg/ piece.
4, 55 type high aluminum brick: alumina content in about 55%, compressive strength between 40-50 MPa, suitable for the more popular refractory material occasions, such as light insulation wall, coating materials. Type 55 high aluminum bricks weigh about 2.9-3.1kg/ piece.
5, 48 type high aluminum brick: alumina content of about 48%, compressive strength between 30-40 MPa, suitable for low temperature kiln or do not need high strength occasions. Type 48 high alumina bricks weigh about 2.3-2.5kg/ piece.
According to the different content of aluminum, high aluminum bricks in China are divided into primary high aluminum bricks, secondary high aluminum bricks and tertiary high aluminum bricks. The content of primary high aluminum bricks is greater than 75%, secondary high aluminum bricks is 60-75%, and tertiary high aluminum bricks is 48-60%.
It is important to note that the specific high alumina brick weight may vary depending on the manufacturer, specifications and density. In the actual use and purchase, it is recommended to compare and screen according to the specific situation, and choose high-quality products that meet their needs.
