What are the typical applications of refractories in melting furnaces?

      At present, many melting furnaces (including incineration ash melting furnaces, gasification melting furnaces), especially melting furnaces with an oxidizing atmosphere in the furnace, all use refractory materials containing Cr2O3 (including refractory bricks and refractory castables).

      Generally, in the melting furnace, Al2O3-Cr2O3 (10% Cr2O3) refractory castables are used in the parts with relatively low erosion; Al2O3-Cr2O3 (20%-30% Cr2O3) refractory castables are used for parts with serious erosion; Cr2O3 (60% Cr2O3)-Al2O3-ZrO2 refractory castables are used for the slag mouth where the erosion is particularly serious.
