(2) Features: During the drying process of bricks, along with some physical changes, some produce surface hardening (such as silica bricks); some produce volume shrinkage (such as clay bricks); when drying is too fast, if all parts are removed If the moisture velocity is inconsistent, cracks may occur. For example, the bricks made of plastic clay are accompanied by certain shrinkage during the drying process, and shrinkage stress is generated, which deforms the product and even cracks. The size of shrinkage and shrinkage stress are determined by the difference between the moisture gradient inside and outside the product. The larger the moisture gradient difference, the faster the drying speed, which is more likely to cause cracking and deformation. Therefore, when the bricks are dried, it is required that the drying speed in the drying process does not exceed a certain value, otherwise the products will crack; when formulating and implementing a reasonable drying system, the drying speed should be as fast as possible, but not occur in the bricks. The stress is greater than the destructive force; it is also very important to choose the appropriate drying equipment.
