Product application and precautions
Mullite polylight brick is a kind of lightweight thermal insulation brick, also known as mullite thermal insulation brick. At present, it is widely used in the upper structure of the glass melting furnace for the forehearth brick, the plate, the upper structure of the processing furnace, the firing furnace, the smelting furnace, the refining device, the heating device, and the thermal insulation layer of the thermal equipment.

In the mullite polylight insulation brick, due to the addition of a certain amount of mullite and alumina powder, the mullite polylight insulation brick has high refractoriness, good thermal shock stability, and can fully adapt to the temperature fluctuation of the shuttle kiln.

The difference between thermal insulation refractories and heavy refractories is very big, and mullite thermal insulation bricks have poor thermal shock stability. When using mullite insulation bricks to build the lining of the kiln, the temperature rise and fall should not be too fast, otherwise the lining will be cracked and damaged. For the mullite insulation bricks built on the outer layer of the lining, reinforcement measures must be taken. Such as reinforcement with furnace steel plates or metal tie rods.
Due to the high porosity of mullite polylight insulation bricks, it cannot bear excessive load when using mullite insulation bricks, and it is necessary to avoid contact with molten metal, slag and high-temperature furnace dust; When using stone thermal insulation bricks, the brick joints and expansion joints should be arranged correctly so as not to squeeze the masonry due to expansion. Mullite insulation bricks should not be subjected to strong mechanical vibration, impact and friction;

Energy-saving effect of mullite polylight insulation bricks used in roller kilns
The thermal insulation effect of industrial kilns is one of the key factors affecting energy consumption. It is necessary to develop a product that has a long service life and can reduce the quality of the furnace body. JM28 is a mullite bonded material with good high temperature performance and low cost. It can be used for kiln lining, which can not only effectively reduce the quality of the furnace body and save ignition, but also prolong the service life of the furnace lining and reduce maintenance costs.

The finished product of JM28 mullite polylight insulation brick is white in appearance, clear in edges and corners, and accurate in size. Its physical and chemical indicators are: AL2O3=67.99%, Fe2O3=0.87%, bulk density is 0.8g/cm?, compressive strength is 2.3MPa, line change after 8h burning at 1500℃ is -0.1%, thermal conductivity (800℃) It is 0.24W·m-1·K-1. According to the results of physical and chemical indicators, the content of AL2O3 in the finished light brick is 67.99%, indicating that this ratio produces more mullite: Fe2O3 content is less than 1%, so the appearance of the brick after burning White (if the iron content is high, the bricks will turn red after burning). The compressive strength meets the standard requirements (≥2.1MPa), because the industrial AL2O3 has a volume shrinkage of about 13% during the firing process, which is beneficial to the improvement of the compressive strength. Clay and industrial AL2O3 have different degrees of volume shrinkage during the sintering process, while the mulliteization of bauxite produces volume expansion, and the decomposition reaction of kyanite also produces volume expansion. The volume expansion and contraction of the system cancel each other out, making the product as a whole The line change is not big, and the line change is only -0.1% after burning at 1500℃ for 8h: the thermal conductivity (800℃) is 0.248W·m-1·K-1, mainly because the amount of wood chips and polystyrene added in the test is small. After the ball is fired, uniform small seven holes are produced, the structure is uniform, the thermal conductivity is low, and the effect of energy saving is achieved.

Application of the product JM28 mullite polylight insulation brick is used in the working lining of shuttle kiln in ceramic factory. The normal use temperature is about 1400 ℃. Improve product quality and production capacity, improve the working environment. After using JM28 mullite polylight insulation brick as the working lining, the gas consumption of each kiln is about 160Kg, which can save about 40Kg per kiln compared with the original brick-concrete structure, and the energy saving advantage is obvious.

Mullite polylight ball light brick has the advantages of good volume stability, high compressive strength and low thermal conductivity, which can save gas and reduce the quality of kiln body.
