For refractory materials, 1300 degrees is a medium to high temperature range. In this temperature range, high alumina bricks or alumina silicate bricks in refractory bricks are generally used. The following will introduce two kinds of refractory bricks for 1300 degrees.
1. High alumina brick
Because high alumina bricks have high compressive strength and excellent fire resistance, they are widely used in medium and high temperature environments around 1300 degrees. Among them, the alumina content of the first-grade high-alumina bricks is greater than 75%, which can withstand high temperatures up to 1790°C, and is suitable for lining various high-temperature furnaces, electrolytic cells and other equipment. The secondary and tertiary high-alumina bricks are suitable for some industrial equipment with slightly lower temperature requirements.
2. Aluminosilicate brick
Aluminosilicate brick is also a common medium and high temperature refractory material. This material is mainly based on aluminum silicate and mixed with a certain proportion of other additives. The maximum service temperature of aluminosilicate bricks is usually around 1350°C, which is suitable for the lining of medium and high temperature equipment such as heat treatment furnaces and glass kilns.
In actual production and application, it should be noted that different industrial equipment and kilns have different requirements for refractory materials, so the selection of suitable refractory materials needs to be comprehensively considered according to specific conditions.
